Scope of application
The cavitator device that
prepares dehydrated mazut for combustion is a
passive machine with no moving parts and energy
supply with cavitation process motivators
located inside the run-through part.
As a result of the cavitation
treatment of the initial water-mazut blend, it
is transformed into a homogeneous highly stable
emulsion, which does not separate over a long
time (more than one year), retaining its
properties in sub zero temperatures, which can
freeze water in a fuel, and having higher energy
and lower environmental effects when burnt.
To prerpare the water-mazut
emulsion, one can use oil-product contaminated
water, as well as water contained in commodity
mazut. The proposed device has undergone testing
and is successfully operated by energy and
heating companies. The results of the operation
of this cavitator opens many possibilities,
listed below.
1. Increase boiler
reliability
1.
Boilers operate reliably with up to 30% water in
the source fuel.
2.
Stable flame with reduced
length, which lowers the temperature of the
combustion products and low-temperature sulfuric
acid corrosion of equipment.
3.
Increase of the combustion
completeness, which decreases residue of under
combusted fuels in the gas duct and air heater
surfaces.
2. Increase economy
1.
Get additional energy due to
more effective burning and utilization of oil
products in waste water.
2.
Use less expensive mazuts
with water or sulfur which can save up to 10% on
burner fuel replacement.
3.
Save on environmental
protection measures.
3. Environmental effects
1.
Remove carcinogenic
substances and reduce NОx
emissions by 20-40%,
reduce benzopyren emissions
by 50-100%.
2.
Achieve complete combustion
of carbon monoxide and cinder, as well as lower
SO3
concentration when burning sulfated mazuts.
